ILP “Design” – Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling

For my second Independent Learning Project, I decided to explore the use of digital storytelling in a classroom. Digital storytelling engages students by encouraging them to be creative as well as use critical thinking skills. One of the most important aspects I believe students learn as they create a digital story is how to research their topic by using credible websites or published articles. Another lesson students learn through the process is how to give positive and constructive feedback to one another. This is very important both in school and in life!

Hope you enjoy!

  3. Great project Aubrey! I love that you gave the kids a way to use their imagination because it is often hard to do that while using technology.
